Deputy CEO, CEA
After completing a PhD in seismology at Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble, Bruno Feignier became an associate researcher at Queen’s University in Canada, before joining the Military Applications Division (DAM) of the CEA as a research engineer in 1993. He then became Secretary General of the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, and from 1997 onwards held several senior positions at the CEA/DAM-Île de France centre. He was appointed Director of Non-Proliferation Security at the CEA’s Military Applications Division, then Director of Materials and Non-Proliferation in 2016, and was Director of the CEA in Grenoble from 2021 to 2025, when he took on the role of Deputy CEO at CEA.
