Gonzalo Belenguer Muncharaz is a professional with over 25 years of experience in innovation, investment, strategic communication, and business development. He is currently the CEO of REDIT (Network of Technological Institutes of the Valencian Community), where he leads R&D+i initiatives, technology transfer, and digitalization efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of companies and industries. Additionally, he is part of the Investment Committee of REDIT Ventures, REDIT’s investment vehicle, where he participates in the evaluation and support of spin-offs with high growth potential generated by the technological institutes.
Prior to REDIT, he played a key role at Global Omnium / Grupo Aguas de Valencia, where, for 15 years, he served as Director of Marketing and Communication. In this role, he designed and executed brand positioning strategies, institutional relations, and corporate social responsibility, as well as managed the group’s reputation in the water and environmental sector, present in more than 300 locations.
Earlier, he worked at the airline Iberia Regional/Air Nostrum as Head of Marketing and Advertising, where he led communication campaigns, customer loyalty programs, and brand promotion at both national and international levels. His professional career began at Grupo AGR and RENFE, holding various roles in marketing and communication areas.
He has a solid academic background, including a Diploma in Governance and Public Innovation from CAF/Complutense University of Madrid, an Executive Program in Public Sector Governance from ESADE, and an MBA in International Trade from ICEX, among others.
In addition to his participation in the European Association of Research and Technology Organizations (EARTO), he is involved in several committees of the Confederation of Business Organizations of the Valencian Community (Industry and Innovation). Since 2022, he has been a columnist in the ‘Innovators’ section of Levante-EMV, and in addition to collaborating with various universities, he is a member of the Mentors Club at the University of Valencia.
