PhD in Biology by UPV/EHU. Master in Marketing and Commercial Management by ESIC Business and Marketing School. Expert in Management of Biotech companies. More than 25 years of experience in Research and Technology Transfer.
From 2019 to 2020 Deputy Manager of Technology with responsibility over the entire technology portfolio of Tecnalia, including Public competitive funding capture, technological KPIs and transversal activity of Tecnalia. From 2014 to 2019 leading the Health Division. 80 researchers in the areas of Neuroengineering, Medical Robotics, Biomaterials and Food Ingredients, with a portfolio of more than 30 patents. During this period responsible of the FIK initiative, a Private-Public 24 Million € investment partnership in the Basque Country for the development, transfer and commercialization of medical devices, leading to companies as Fesia or Textia.
Member of the Board of several companies including Fesia Technologies and Neos Surgery. Member of the Steering Committee Board or/and of several organizations including EARTO, FEDIT, BRTA and the Real Instituto Elcano.
