Marco Alvisi is currently general manager and board member of CETMA.

As researcher in physics, he has worked for different national research institutions in the field of material science. From 2001, he is researcher in the Sustainability Department of ENEA and responsible for innovation/technology transfer activities at ENEA Brindisi.

As senior technology transfer expert, he has been project coordinator for Enterprise Europe Network, key account manager and senior innovation adviser for EASME, business development manager for the Regional Center Southern Itay of the Knowledge Innovation Community in Raw Materials of the European Institute of Technology and project manager of research and tech transfer projects.

He is co-author of more than 78 scientific papers (h-index 25) published in leading journals in the fields of thin films, surface technology and gas sensors, periodically participating in major national/international materials science conferences, author of 4 Italian patents on polymer nanostructures, gas sensors and reference materials and referee of scientific journals.
