Michel Viktorovitch is advisor to the President for European Affairs at IFP Energies Nouvelles (IFPEN) since 2023. IFPEN is a major player in research and training in the fields of energy, transport and environment. From fundamental research to the development of technologies, innovation is at the heart of its action. Michel served previously in several French governmental organisations, among which as deputy director of the Energy and Circular Economy Programme, at the General Secretariat for Investment, responsible, under the authority of the Prime Minister, of the France 2030 plan (54 billion Euros to sustainably transform key sectors of the French economy through technological innovation and industrialization).Previously, he has worked for 10 years in the automotive and space sectors in France and Switzerland, which gave him the opportunity to lead complex industrial projects in an international perspective. Michel holds a PhD in mechanical engineering (structural dynamics) from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon.
